Web Design, Dan Morris
Macromedia Dreamweaver, Fireworks and additional Web 2.0 applications were used to create an easy to use and access web site for Dan Morris, as he sought out a vacant seat in the Colorado State Board of Education. Visitors can learn more about Dan and his philosophies, as well as posting comments on relevant and current topics in Education.
Custom Design and Training Materials, Center for Performance Assessment
Training materials, specifically updated Power Point Template was created for client to distribute and be used by their entire training group.
Web Design Training, Rangely Public Schools
Macromedia Dreamweaver and Fireworks was used to provide web design staff with fundamental web and graphic design skills for developing and maintaining their own district and school web sites. Training was segmented into two, 2-day sessions (late winter and early spring).
CIW Fast Track Training, Pueblo Community College
The CIW (Certified Internet Webmaster) training provided foundational instruction in Internet business principles, networking, and web authoring. Participants included community college instructors and high school teachers, whom attended this training for purposes of disseminating information and certification acquisition to their respective students. This CIW training was delivered using the fast track (one week session) style.
A+ Certification Course, Mid South Community College
An online A+ Certification course was developed for the client. Following the clients online development model, section presentations with voice-over's were created using Power point, Soundforge, and Impatica and learner activities were created using Softchalk. Currently, students use the course for degree requirements and certification prep. Section presentations are also featured on the Mid South Community College Shared Learning Objects web site.
Palm® Handheld Computer Training, East Central BOCES
Palm® handheld computer training was provided for the client while working with CTLT (Colorado Teaching, Learning and Technology). This introductory session provided participants with basic skills for using productivity features their Palm® handheld computer, including Calendar, Contacts, Memo, Notepad, and Tasks. Emphasis was placed on using these productivity features and other additional programs like Big Clock and Cooties (educational software) with application in an educational environment. An advanced training was conducted 3 weeks afterwards to provide participants with more hands on experience with educational software programs specifically designed for use on the Palm® handheld computer.
Great Technology, Little Budget, Technology in Education
Using the online bookmarking tool, iKeepbookmarks, participants were provided with hands-on experience with free online resources. Highlights of this training included the use of HPRTECs suite of online tools for educators (Quizstar, Trackstar and Web Worksheet Wizard), Intel Teach to the Future Unit Plans, and Marcopolo lesson plans and activities. Training session was delivered during the 2005 Technology in Education Conference at Copper Mountain, Colorado.
Web site design, East Central BOCES

Client needed a basic interface design for their web site. Templates, using CSS were created to enable the client to develop pages and maintain the web site. Macromedia Contribute was set up so that client, who currently does not have staff with HTML or web design skills, can maintain the web site. Text and graphics that contribute to the page layout in the current web site are work completed by the client, not Duckworth Design.
